Welcome to the zivnostenskylist.cz portal. We run a website where you will find guides, articles and tools on the topic of trade-licence business and self-employment (OSVČ) in the Czech Republic. These terms of use (hereinafter the "terms") describe the rules under which you use the website and what you can – and cannot – expect from it.
By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website. It sounds formal, I know. But it is fair: so that we both know where we stand.

Let's say you read an article about the flat-rate tax (paušální daň) and conclude that it is advantageous for you. A great start. But before you sign up for it, verify the current conditions and amounts with the Financial Administration and, ideally, discuss it with a tax adviser or accountant. Your income, secondary activity alongside an employer, or perhaps your entitlement to credits, may change the outcome entirely.
Caution: The legislation around self-employed persons (OSVČ) changes often – and sometimes even during the year. Insurance premium rates, advance payments, limits and deadlines are adjusted every year. Even though we update the content on an ongoing basis, always verify critical figures with the relevant authority as of the date on which you make decisions based on them.
