The Trade Licensing Act divides trades into four groups according to the qualification you must demonstrate. The most common is the unqualified trade (živnost volná) — you need no education for it.

|---|---|---|
| First notification of a trade | 1,000 Kč | 800 Kč |
| Each further notification / application for a concession | 500 Kč | 400 Kč |
| Change of details + new extract | 100 Kč | 80 Kč |
| Suspension / cancellation of a trade | 0 Kč | — |
| Adding another field to an unqualified trade | 0 Kč | — |
Since 1 January 2025, revenue stamps can no longer be used for payment. If you notify several trades at once, you pay the fee only once at the highest rate.
Any municipal trade licensing office in the Czech Republic will accept the notification — you are not bound by your place of residence. Find the nearest one.
