Since 1 January 2025, revenue stamps can no longer be used for payment. If you notify several trades at once, you pay the fee only once at the highest rate.

The administrative fee for the first notification is 1,000 Kč; for an electronic submission it is 800 Kč. The assignment of an IČO (business ID) is free of charge.
How long does it take to set up a trade licence?
For notifiable trades, the office issues the extract within 5 working days. The trade authorisation arises on the very day of notification.
Do I need to register for income tax after setting up my trade licence?
No. The registration of natural persons for income tax was abolished as of 1 January 2024.
Can I notify a trade anywhere?
Yes, at any municipal trade licensing office in the Czech Republic, or online via rzp.gov.cz or through a data box (datová schránka).
Do I need a qualification for an unqualified trade?
No. For an unqualified trade you only need to demonstrate the general conditions — legal capacity and good standing (no criminal record).
