What the office takes from the registers itself

You do not report a change of given name, surname and permanent residential address of a natural person to the trade licensing office — it takes them automatically from the basic registers. The tax office and ČSSZ are likewise connected to the registers, so you do not need to report a change of residence to them separately either. Moreover, if you have your registered seat identical to your permanent residence and this link is configured, the business address updates automatically alongside the residential address.

How do I report a change of registered seat and do I need the owner's consent?
You report a change of registered seat on the change form (JRF) within 15 days and must provide the legal grounds for using the premises — an extract from the land register, a lease agreement or the owner's consent to placing the registered seat at the address. Failure to fulfil the notification duty is a breach of the Trade Licensing Act and may lead to a fine. In the case of the registered seat, moreover, without documented legal grounds for using the premises there is a risk of complications up to cancellation of the trade authorisation, so report the change within 15 days and provide the supporting documents.
